Welcome to our October 2021 Sunday Long Run. This month's run is kindly being hosted by Patrick and Alanna Jagielski. The run will be around Standley Lake in Westminster. Please see below for more information from our hosts!

We'll start our journey at our home at 9820 Johnson Ct, Westminster, CO 80021. Park anywhere either in the cul-de-sac or on the street. Hell, even the first comers can park in our driveway. If folks arrive early, feel free to come inside the front door to stay warm. Just don't mind the cat, Hobbes

For the run, the trail is 0.1 miles from the house. So I'll lead us there and get us started navigating the "confusing part". We'll start by going south along the lake since there's some good Fall leaf action going on. Hell yeah. We'll get a good view of the mountains against the lake. We'll go until the trail ends before the nature sanctuary, then cut back from whence we came. But our journey isn't over if you want more than 7.5 miles. The fellowship will continue north past the house and head towards an Eagle sanctuary. We'll skip that (unless anyone wants to see it, but there will be no eagles. Gandalf already took them to Mordor to save Frodo) and go towards an open dog park with some nice mountain views too. We'll hit about 9ish miles at that point. Then we can head back to hit 11 ish. You can add more or less mileage at the end there. We'll end at the house and make like hobbits.

Finally, speaking of hobbits, Second Breakfast. We'll have food and refreshments for folks. Football will be on and a fuzzy cat will want to greet you (maybe). See Less
